Mr. Darnell brings over 30 years of experience in corporate security, Federal, and State law enforcement engaging with multi level Federal, State, and local organizations, both domestic and international as an expert leader in security services, training and skill development, protection, crisis and risk management, leadership, team building, security and intelligence management, investigative techniques, and large scale event execution.
Mr. Darnell spent his law enforcement career investigating a myriad of local, State, and Federal crimes, which included violent crimes, bank robberies, gangs, drugs, fugitives, white collar crimes, terrorism, and outlaw motorcycle gangs.
During his 25 years in the FBI, he spent 16 years assigned to the FBI'S Elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), where he served as an assaulter, medic, open and closed circuit diver, special mission planner, program manager, instructor, hostage negotiator, team leader, and as a Unit Chief leading one of the HRT operational Units. He served on 3 FBI SWAT Teams and was the SWAT Senior Team Leader for the Memphis Division.
Mr. Darnell traveled the world conducting investigations, responding to crises, conducting protection and security operations, and deploying with DOD Special Operations Forces and Other Government Agencies contributing to the success of the Global War on Terror. He received numerous awards over his law enforcement career, which included the US Army Commander's Award for Civilian Service for Exceptional Meritorious Achievement, the US Attorney General's Award for Exceptional Heroism, FBI Medal of Valor, FBI Director's award for being in the Top Ten Percent of all FBI Leaders.
